Today the calendar moves from winter to spring. I for one am certainly glad to see the arrival of spring. This winter has been cold, snowy, and harsh for many people in our community. The grass has been dormant. The leaves have fallen off of the trees. The days were too short and the sun didn't shine nearly enough to suit me.
But, praise the Lord, spring has arrived. I saw the first daffodills of the season yesterday. Robins have been active in the yard and the days are getting longer.
With the arrival of spring, I also begin turning my attention to the coming of Passion Week and Easter. Friends, our LORD JESUS CHRIST shed His precisous and pure blood to cover your sins and mine. So, as we approach Easter, I hope you will take time to reflect upon His sacrifice and His desire to have a personal and growing intimate relationship with you.
I hope to see you Sunday as we worship the only one worthy of our worship, Jesus Christ!
