Easter is a wonerful time of year.  It is a time where little girls dress up in their newest and frilliest dresses.  It is a time when boys and girls alike take up a basket and "hunt" for treasure filled eggs.

    But above all Easter is about Hope!.  I want to share an acrostic of the word Easter with you this week.  As you contemplate the sacrifice Christ made for you on the Cross of Calvary and anticipate the celebration of His resurrection this Sunday morning, I hope and pray you will be obedient to the Spirit's leading in your life.

    Easter is a time of...

Evidence.  Jesus triumphantly rose from the grave.

Anticipation. Are you ready for His second coming?

Singing.  Sing the wondrous story.

Telling.   Tell the truth of Jesus resurrection to any and all who will listen.

Examination.  Examine your heart to see if you are truly His.

Remember.  Remember His sacrifice on the Cross of Calvary.
